Right now, buying and selling used goods in Oman happens across WhatsApp groups, Instagram, and regional classifieds like OpenSooq and dubizzle. There’s no trusted, Oman-first marketplace with verified sellers. The demand is obvious; the local option isn’t.
Pharmacy delivery
Oman’s big pharmacy chains largely rely on Talabat for delivery rather than their own apps. A dedicated, Oman-wide medicine-delivery app — with prescriptions, reminders and insurance — is a genuinely open lane.
Adventure and desert booking
Diving the Daymaniyat Islands, desert camps in the Sharqiyah Sands, wadi and canyon trips — all booked today through global marketplaces or direct operator websites. No one has built the app a visitor (or resident) reaches for to book Oman’s outdoors.
A homegrown property and jobs platform
Property and hiring both run through regional classifieds. An Omani-built portal that understands local neighbourhoods, rents and the labour market could own a category that’s currently rented from abroad.
